Lifestyle Choices

The effect of poor lifestyle choices such as poor diet and smoking lead to significant adverse effects on fertility, both for natural conception and IVF.

A/Professor Chan recently presented the findings of his study on a Fertility Fitness & Lifestyle program, which showed a 475% increase in having a baby if a couple participated in a lifestyle program leading to weight optimisation and a healthier lifestyle.

Even though couples who successfully fell pregnant often had unsuccessful IVF cycles previously, a significant proportion of these couples fell pregnant naturally, avoiding IVF altogether.
